I lost my Angel, my pit bull that I had with me for almost 13 years. She passed away on March 8, 2013 and I really miss her.
I got Angel when she was only a pup of about 2 months. At first when I took her for a drive, she would sit on my lap and help me steer. As she got older, she grew too large to sit on my lap, so I had to have her sit on another seat. I guess she was insulted that she couldn’t help me drive, because after that, she would never sit in the front seat.
The first two years, she was a little kid growing up. She destroyed two mattress, a coach, living room chair, my cell phone, the back seat of my truck and many other wondrous tasty things. Then a miracle happened, she turned two years of age and quit chewing everything in sight.
Angel was always great with kids, they could sit on her, pull her ears and she would just lick the children’s faces. She loved most people, but every once in a while, she would growl at someone for no apparent reason.
She was pretty tough, thinking about the time, back in August 2009 when she fought off a coyote. You can read about this experience in her life on another of my posts at Dog Dreams and Angel
I think she had a great life, getting massages almost every day and three dog treats a day on top of that. Maybe that was why she was so mellow.
She passed away while I was in Argentina. I cut my vacation short in order to be with her when she passed but I was several days short of being with her. She passed away due to an intestine that was ruptured and a large cancerous cell that affected her vital organs.
All I can say at this point is that I miss her dearly and I’m sure there is a reason that Dog spelled backward spells God.
Here’s a great animal video. This one has been viewed 14,700,000 times.

1 year old rottweiler Marlow plays with the 9 week old beagle puppy Indie from next door and lives to tell about it!
Have a picture of your dog and a story to tell, I’ll be happy to post it on this website.
My name is Zachery, I’m a Shetland Sheepdog and I’m also known as a Sheltie. I am small because I’m just the right size for my native country the Shetland Islands. I don’t like to brag, but I’m one of the smartest dogs on earth, well, not quite, but I’m sixth from the top of dog breeds when it comes to intelligence.
Some of my best friends, beside my owners Christie and Amanda, are the two cats in my house. My owners play silly games with me, taking a red laser light and shining it all over the place. I chase the laser light just to please them, and also because they don’t own any sheep for me to chase. You know, I just love to chase and herd things, so this is the closest I can come to doing that in the house I live in.
I’m getting up in age now, so I sleep a lot and go for short walks. However, in my retirement, I really would like to have for a ranch style dog house in the country. I also want some acreage with a flock of sheep so I can show my stuff and get some exercise. I’m sure Angel can find something for me.
This is just what I’m looking for!
Written by Christie O’Dell. Christie is my daughter and a school teacher. Amanda is my grand-daughter.

The pug and the peacock, is this a battle to a draw? You decide. Make a comment and let me know if you like this breed or have one.
Anyhow, Angel has no new dog listing this week. Lots of potential clients saying they’re going to send in pictures of their dogs with a little story, so hopefully they will do that soon.
So to fill in the rest of the week, we found one of her relatives starring in this video of the pug versus the peacock.

According to Pug-Wikipedia
“The expression of the Pug belies its true sense of fun. Pugs are sociable dogs, and usually stubborn about certain things, but they are playful, charming, clever and are known to succeed in dog obedience skills.
Bred to adorn the laps of the Chinese sovereigns during the Shang dynasty (before 400 BC), in East China, they were known as “Lo-Chiang-Sze” or “Foo” (ceramic foos, transmogrified into dragon, with their bulging eyes are very Pug-like). The Pug’s popularity spread to Tibet, where they were mainly kept by monks, and then went onto Japan, and finally Europe.
This breed may also be referred to as a “Lion Dog” or “Foo (or Fu) Dog” due to its resemblance to Chinese guardian lions just like the Pekingese dog breed from China of similar origin and resemblance to Chinese guardian lions which are considered a guardian spirit.”
What do you think?
My name is Molly, I’m a shih-poo, a cross between a shih-Tzu and poodle, but I just like to say I’m Tibetan and French it sounds better if you know what I mean. I’m still a pup I guess, because that’s what I hear all the time, “oh, how old is she, she acts just like pup.”
I’m looking for a green environmental dog house preferable with solar roofing and bamboo floors. I would like a deck running along the front of the house because I love l to just sit and watch the birds and listen to the crickets. I’m a good watch dog.
In the meantime, I have a really nice house my mom and I live in and I sleep with her every night since I was born, I like it that way.
My mom is a singing teacher; she loves to sing too, my job is to greet all the students at the door and to make them comfortable before they start their lessons. So I jump in their laps and lick their faces. I’m pretty tried by the end of the day.

All we need are solar panels on the roof and it’ll be just what Molly wants.
Mom and I are so close that she hardly goes anywhere without me, we have been kicked out of a lot of places.
I love to play tricks on mom and when she is sitting at the computer playing Mafia Wars, on Facebook, I get bored. I start talking to her, I speak englis, she thinks I want to go outside because she isn’t paying attention so she gets up from the computer, but I just want her to chase me around the house and play ball, this always makes her laugh so hard.
My most favorite times ever is when we take our road trips to the town of Sonoma. Boy do I have a ball because dogs are welcome everywhere, I see and do things that I have never seen in my life before. I heard a dog say “being here is just like living in France.” Wow, I was impressed!

I love what I do, but boy does it wear me out! This is my vacation home. This is a really nice doghouse, don’t you think? I really like the front deck.
Have a dog? A dog house (you can make one up)? Angel would like to list your doghouse, send a picture of your dog and a doghouse, along with the square footage, how many bathrooms the doghouse has and we’ll post it on this site. Tell us what’s special about your dog and what breed it is. Angel would appreciate that. See the About Us page for details.
My name is Milo and I am a Chihuahua and Beagle mix. My brother is Charlie and he is a Chihuahua. I am 2 years old and Charlie is 1.
We are brothers by spirit as we don’t share the same Mom or Dad just the same owner!
I was born in a home. My owner came and saw me and took me right away. I was the runt of the litter and my owner swears that runts are the best!! My owner took me to visit my new grandparents and guess what, they fell in love with me too! So much so, I now spend most of my time with my grandparents and my Mom takes me on weekends! She misses me alot but she see’s that it is really good that I stay with the grandparents because I make them really happy!
Charlie was brought home by my human sister. She got him and brought him home and it has been a really good thing for my mom. Charlie is really fun to be around, when we hang on the weekends he and I play fight all the time! Charlie thinks he is bigger than he really is and thinks he can take on anything! I have to give it to him though, he can run, really, really fast.
We know Angel by our Mom’s association with John. We were so excited when we heard that Angel was selling real estate. We have been contemplating selling our doghouse as we don’t use it like we used too. So, we called Angel and see came over, checked it out and we signed the paper and love having our house listed with her.
Our house has running water and separate bedrooms. We love it! There is food there all the time (not sure how that happens, but…). We have the biggest bathroom! Anywhere your heart desires, outside only!
Angel is a great agent, she shouts out a bark to us all the time. She is really on top of it! As everyone knows, it is a dog eat dog world out there and she is tough!!
Milo and Charlie…………
Angel (my dog) needs more doghouse listings. Send a picture of your dog, a doghouse (make one up if you don’t have one) and a story about your dog. Angel will post your dog on this website.
I’m excited, this is my first doghouse listing. (This is Angel talking, Angel is my dog)
This is Logan who was born on St. Patrick’s day! 4 years ago. He was a champion show dog, winning every show he entered except one. He retired from the ring and became my hiking buddy last June. He is shy and afraid of small dogs & cats…unless they run. He very rarely barks, even when he meets barking dogs or strange people. He thinks he is a lap dog. He travels back and forth to San Diego, 11 hrs, without so much as a bark, whine or cry…he just wants to go where ever Jeff goes. He doesn’t seem fast loping around until you see him gallop like a horse.
The Irish Wolfhound was originally a war dog, used to drag men out of chariots or off horseback, but was also used as a hunting hound and as a guard. There are numerous references in Irish mythology to its prowess in all these fields. It was used to hunt the Irish elk and the wolf and was used singly or in pairs rather than in a pack, hence the need for great size. When the last of the wolves in Ireland was killed (the elk had become extinct long before), the breed dwindled and almost died out. The process was not helped by the demand for this magnificent hound around the world. It was given as a gift to kings and princes, but this was eventually stopped by Oliver Cromwell who brought out a law banning its export.
This is Angel, my dog, first doghouse listing and she is excited!
